Erin Cecilia Thomas is from Buffalo, New York. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she played guitar and studied music production, and went on to receive her MFA in Fiction from Lesley University. Her work has appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Arts & Letters, and Redivider Journal, among many others, and in 2021 she received the Beacon Street Prize in Fiction. Erin has lived in Boston, Brooklyn, and New Jersey, where she has worked as a barista, chicken wing fryer, bookseller, and recording engineer. She currently resides in Nashville with her husband and their mountain cur, Frankie. Erin teaches various fiction classes with the Porch Writers’ Collective, and her first book, I Watched You from the Ocean Floor is available now from Modern Artist Press.
